Apple is expected to launch new iPad Pro tablets and all new 128GB variant of the iPhone SE in march.
A report on Japanese blog Macotakara says that Apple is expected to add one more size to it’s iPad Pro. The display size of the new iPad pro is expected to be of 10.5 inches. Though blog didn’t indicate at any price for the new iPad pro, it’s expected to be around $600 or higher.
We can see a competition between Apple and Samsung in terms of tablets in the near future.
The blog also asserts that Apple will launch a iPhone SE in 128 GB variant. The previous variant of iPhone SE was launched targeting emerging markets but it was more successful in developed markets like US and Saudi Arabia.
The blog noted that since demand for the phone was higher than it’s supply in the quarter that ended on March 26 and the following one that ended on June 25,it directly hints at the popularity of Apple’s low-end iPhone. Taking prices of other variants as a barometer, the 128GB variant will cost somewhere between $500 to $550.
“If I zoom out of the 90-day clock and look at it, we’ve got some exciting things coming on iPad. I still feel very optimistic about where we can take the product,” Apple chief executive Tim Cook told financial analysts in January. However, iPad revenue did decline by 19% in the quarter that ended on December 31.
