Google announced their Pixel line of smartphones last year and since then enthusiasts from around the world are waiting for it’s next version. Now that we are done with Note 8 launch, V30 launching next week, it’s time for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. According to famous leakster Even Blass, the two smartphones will be launched on 5th October 2017.
He also added that the new phones will be running on the Snapdragon 836 SoC, which is an upgraded version 835 SoC, Google had done similar thing past year with Snapdragon 821 over 820. The new processor will be coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB RAM is expected.
The device will running on the latest Android 8.0.1 Oreo out of the box, meaning there will be an Oreo update this October. The phone is said to be made by HTC and therefore will have edge sense feature which let’s you squeeze your phone to perform different tasks. We might not see a 18:9 aspect ratio display from, Google this year.
Along with this Google is also expected to launch Google Home Mini and new updated Chromebooks at the event in October. The are also rumors about the wireless headphones by Google which will be powered by the Google Assistant.
