Share

After the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG V30 and iPhone X only one major flagship launch is left and it is the most anticipated launch for all the android enthusiasts. The launch of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Google has started teasing out 4th October date for the launch event which is similar to the last year’s date.

Google in there teasers have shown people searching for battery problems with their device so the first thing we expect from the new Google Phones is a good battery life, the previous models already had a good battery life but can google make it even battery as the battery is one thing everyone wants more.

Moving on to the specifications both the phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB or RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phones will run on the latest Android 8.0.1 Oreo which will also mark the launch of the Oreo 8.0.1 update. The smartphones will use a Adreno 540 GPU.

One of the two smartphones will be manufactured by HTC and will come with it’s Edge Sense technology which let’s you squeeze your phone to perform different operations. It will probability be Google Pixel 2 and might not come with a bezel- less display. In fact it’s elder brother Google Pixel 2 XL which will be manufactured by LG will come with a bezel-less display with a 18:9 display as we have seen on LG devices. We really hope both the new pixels come with a good looking design we are personally not a big fan of the older pixel’s design.

Camera is one thing on Pixel smartphones that is top notch till now. We expect the same from the new models and we might see a dual camera setup on the Pixel 2 XL which will also come with the portrait mode or whatever google calls it. This will also lead to support for Dual cameras on the Google camera app as we have recently seen Xiaomi going with it’s own camera app even on an Android one Phone.
