Android Oreo 8.0 Rolling Out To Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Google released the Android Oreo 8.0 back in August and Sony is amongst the first company to bring the update to it’s existing lineup. Sony has now announced that they are rolling out the Oreo update for the Xperia XZ Premium.
Sony has also released list of other smartphone that will get the Android Oreo update soon. It includes Sony Xperia X, Song Xperia XZ, Xperia X compact, Xperia XZs, Xperia XZ performance. The new update also brings Sony’s 3D Creator app which lets users quickly create 3D models of face, head, food or any object using device camera.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, will be the first device in India with the latest SoC. It comes with 4GB of ram and 64GB on board storage expandable via microSD. In traditional sony style it has a 5.5 inch 4K display and run on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat.
As the phone is made up of glass it is covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back. In terms of specifications Xperia XZ Premium is a beast and the company is also talking a lot about it’s 13 MP rear camera. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
