Google Hardware Event, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixelbook, Google Home Mini, Mi Mix 2, Tech Updates


Hey Whats-up guys welcome to the 20th episode of the Tech Updates, Let’s Get started. Just few hours are left before the Google’s hardware event and we already know all most everything about the devices. Starting with Google’s laptop called the Pixelbook.

The new Pixelbook will run on Intel  Core i5 series of processors, whether it will be recently announced 8th gen Coffee lake chips or the old 7th gen chips is still unknown. It will have 12.3 inch touch screen display and will come in three storage variants. The expected pricing is $1,199, $1,399, and $1,749 for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage variants respectively.

Image of the Google Home Mini speaker along side the Google Pixel 2 XL has been leaked out. The speaker looks compact and will have all the capabilities of it’s elder sibling Google Home. Coming to the phones Both the smartphones comes with a dual front speakers and there are huge bezels on the Pixel 2 while the display on the Pixel 2 XL is rounded like we have seen on LG G6. Airtel one of the largest telecom operator of the country is all set to launch it’s 4G VoLTE enabled Android smartphone under ₹2,000 giving competition to the recently launched Jio Phone. The smartphone will sport a 4 inch touchscreen display as opposed to a small display and keypad on Jio Phone. The RAM is also double with 1GB. It will house a 1,500 mAh battery and will come with support for apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and Youtube, It will also have Airtel’s own apps like Wynk Music etc.

Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched it’s bezel-less Mi Mix 2 globally and soon after that Xiaomi India announced that the smartphone will be coming to India Soon and now we have a date. The Mi Mix 2 will launch in India on 10th October. It comes with a 5.99 inch bezel-less display and is powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. The expected pricing is around ₹32,000.
