Ever since Reliance launched the Jio Phone, other telecom operators are trying to beat the feature phone having features like a smartphone. While Airtel partnered with Karbonn, Vodafone has partnered with Micromax to take down both Jio Phone and the Airtel one. Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra is a 4G Smartphone with at an effective price of ₹999.
Existing and new Vodafone customers can buy the smartphone for ₹2,899 and will have to do recharges of at least ₹150 pr month for a period of 36 months and at the end of 18 months they will receive a cash back of ₹900 in their Vodafone M-Pesa wallet. It will be available in November.
Then after another 18 months you will receive a cash back of ₹1000, making it’s effective price to be ₹999. You don’t have to return the phone or show the phone to get the cashback. The device sports a 4 inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The dual sim phone runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow and comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera.
