At Google I/O 2017, Google announced Google Lens, which uses your smartphone camera to scan an object and gives you more information about the same. Then it was rolled out to Google Photos with the launch of new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
And now Google has announced Google lens is coming to Google assistant soon via a blog post. It will be Pixel devices exclusive and we don’t know if Google will eventually roll it out to other android devices too. With this, you will find a Google lens option on the bottom right when you open Google Assistant.
When you tap the Google Lens icon it will open your smartphone’s camera and will let you scan an object and just like in Google photos will give you information about the object. The only difference here that you can take a love photo instead of using an old photo. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
