After launching it in China last month Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to bring the successor it’s popular Honor 6X smartphone in India called the Honor 7X. George Zhao, Global President, Honor confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India in December and will be priced aggressively to eliminate the competition.
The smartphone is powered by the 2.36Ghz Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It comes with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of internal storage variants which can also be expanded via MicroSD up to 256GB.
Honor 7X sports a 5.93 inch Full HD + 18:9 aspect ratio display and houses a non-removable 3,340mAh battery. Just like it’s predecessor Honor 7X comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for collecting depth information.
It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with its own EMUI 5.1 on top. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back just below the dual camera setup. The device is priced at CNY 1,299, CNY 1699 and CNY 1,999 for the 32GB,64GB, and 128GB of storage variants effectively.
