Hey whats-up guys welcome to another episode of the tech updates. Google at its Google For India event announced Bill payments will come to Google Tez app in India Soon. Google will launch it gradually in coming weeks. With this new update, you will able to pay to over 70 merchants via the Google Tez App. This includes business like, Tata power, Red bus etc.
As you know Google Tezz is a UPI based app so the money will stay in your bank account only and all the transactions will happen via the bank only. The tez app will also give you notifications to remind you to pay your bill. You can even use two different accounts from the same merchant, for example, I can pay for my MTNL internet bill for my home as well as office via the Google tez App.
Google also said they will be launching a lot of new features in 2018 to the Tez app. Most of the people in India commute via two-wheelers as they are more convenient and also a cheaper mode of transport. Google has also realized that and has launched a new two-wheeler mode in its Google Maps app. The new mode is placed along with the old Car, Foot, and train mode. We have tested this mode on Google Maps for Android. This new mode will help in users getting new routes for two-wheelers.
Google launched Android Go at Google I/O 2017 which aims at providing a better experience on the entry level android devices with less memory. Today Google launched the Oreo Go Edition of the Android Go at the Google For India event held in New Delhi.
App load times will get reduced as apps will be optimized by for the Android Go. Like Google Assistant will be Assistant Go on Oreo Go and Google is also encouraging third-party developers to optimize their apps for the Android Go.
Along with this Google also launched the Files Go app which helps you in getting more space out of your devices via removing junk stuff and the app is also now available for all Android smartphones. You can also send files faster via this Files Go App
MSI has finally launched its GV series of gaming laptops in India. The Laptops will be exclusively available via Flipkart from 7th December in its Big shopping days sale The laptops will be powered by the Intel Core i7 Processor (7th Gen) coupled with 16GB of DDR4 RAM on the high-end variant. It will come with the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM for the highest variant and 1050 and 1050ti for other variants.
There are different variants running Windows 10 and DOS operating systems. The laptops sport 15.6-inch Full HD Displays and have steel series gaming backlit keyboards. The lowest version comes with a 1TB hard drive while the other two comes with an additional 128GB SSD.
Micromax has launched another smartphone to its 18:9 display sporting Canvas Infinity series. The smartphone is called the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro and is priced at ₹13,999. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting midnight 6th December. It sports a 5.7 -inch HD 18:9 aspect ratio FullVision display and runs on Android Nougat.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 430 quad-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB. Canvas Infinity Pro comes with a 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor with LED flash and two front-facing cameras with 20 megapixel and 8-megapixel resolution. OnePlus is all set to launch a special limited edition of its flagship Oneplus 5T smartphone in India called the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition.
