We are only a month away from the biggest mobile event of the year called Mobile World Congress 2018. HMD Global owned Nokia is all set to launch its flagship smartphone of the year called the Nokia 9. Along with this Nokia is also expected to launch the first Android Go Smartphone called Nokia 1.
Now according to some new leaked renders by a case maker we have some information about the device. The smartphone will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display and will have a thinner top, bottom, and side bezels. A vertical dual camera setup is present at the back, most probably powered by Zeiss Optics.
It will have a rear placed fingerprint scanner and might come with facial recognition system too. All the leaks are in line with the previous leaks and rumors but we are not sure about the dual front camera setup. We hope to see some good use of the dual front camera setup as we will be seeing more smartphone makers using dual front camera setup.
The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and will have a 5.5 inch OLED display from LG. The smartphone will run on Snapdragon 835 processor, After the launch of Snapdragon 845, going for 835 is not a wise decision. It will sport a dual rear camera setup with 12 megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors. Nokia 9 will house a 3250mAh battery and will support fast charging.
These are the specifications of the highest end variant with no details about the RAM. A leaked image from Weibo shows thinner bezels with 18:9 OLED display and a dual camera setup at the front too with a 5-megapixel resolution of one lens. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
