Last week, Sony launched two new mid-range smartphones and a budget smartphone at CES 2018. Sony didn’t reveal the pricing at the time of launch but now the three smartphones are up for pre-order in US and UK which also reveals the pricing of Sony’s 2018 smartphone lineup.
Sony Xperia L2 is priced at $250 around ₹15,900. It comes with a 5.5 inch HD display and houses a 3,300mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6737T processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD. The fingerprint scanner is placed right below the 13-megapixel rear camera and it comes with an 8-megapixel wide angle lens at the front for better selfies.
Sony Xperia XA2 is priced at $350 around ₹22,200 and the Xperia XA2 Ultra at $420 around ₹28,600. The smartphone comes with a 5.2 inch and 6-inch displays respectively with Full HD resolution. Both the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU.
Xperia XA2 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD. The Xperia XA2 Ultra comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of internal storage variants. The Xperia XA2 has a hybrid memory card slot while the XA2 Ultra comes with a dedicated card slot.
The Xperia XA2 houses a 3,300mAh battery and the XA2 Ultra houses a 3,580mAh battery. Both the smartphones come with a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Xperia XA2. Xperia XA2 Ultra comes with a 16-megapixel+8-megapixel wide angle lens dual camera setup at the front.
We don’t know about the Indian pricing of the smartphones and when Sony will launch these new devices in the country. We expect Sony to price them similar to the US dollars pricing.
