HTC brought the popular 18:9 aspect ratio display to its flagship smartphone with HTC U11 Plus. Now the company is all set to launch a HTC Desire smartphone with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is rumored to be the HTC Desire 12. It is code named Breeze and is expected to be launched in coming weeks.
Looks like HTC is skipping the HTC desire 11 and is directly launching the HTC Desire 12. The Desire 12 is expected to be powered by an unspecified MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes with a 5.5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The smartphone comes with expandable storage via MicroSD. HTC Desire 12 sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies. The device will house a 2,730mAh battery and will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
We highly doubt if HTC will launch this smartphone at MWC 2018 as the company has not confirmed its presence yet. We hope HTC will price this smartphone well as in terms of specifications it is not looking very good. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals and reviews.
