There were many rumors in the past about Apple launching the 2nd generation of its iPhone SE in 2018. Now according to the latest report, Apple is planning to launch the iPhone S2 in June at WWDC 2018. This will be the first time that Apple will launch an iPhone at Apple’s developers’ conference.
The iPhone SE 2 will be powered by the Apple’s A10 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. We hope Apple goes with A11 Bionic chipset which is amazing. Apple will be increasing the display size this year with a 4.2-inch display instead of the 4-inch display found on the original iPhone SE.
Some earlier reports claimed that Apple will reduce the bezels on the new smartphone but it looks like Apple will use the same design as the iPhone SE. iPhone SE 2 will come with the touch ID enabled fingerprint sensor for security and will not come with Apple’s latest Face ID, facial recognition system.
As reported by QQ, The Apple iPhone SE 2 will come in two storage variants with 32GB of internal storage and a 128GB of internal storage variant. As usual, Apple will also unveil the next generation of its mobile operating system called iOS 12. The iPhone SE 2 is expected to run on iOS 12 out of the box.
Apple generally makes its next iOS version available in July end, If the iPhone SE2 comes with iOS 12 out of the box we can expect the smartphone to go on sale around the same time.
