HMD Global owned Nokia launched its flagship smartphone for the year 2017 called Nokia 8 in India in October 2017. The smartphone was launched at a price of ₹36,999. Nokia 8 is now available at ₹28,999. Similarly, November 2017 launched Nokia 5 is now available at ₹12,499. ₹1000 less than its original price of ₹13,499.
These new prices will come into effect starting today, 1st February 2018. Nokia 8 is powered by 2,4GHz Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It sports a 5.3 inch Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It comes with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 256GB.
Nokia 8 comes with a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup out of which one is a monochrome sensor and one is RGB. The front-facing camera is also of 13 megapixels but comes with 78.4-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and the back cameras are capable of recording 4K footage and come with Nokia’s Dual-Sight mode which lets you use both the cameras simultaneously.
It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Android Oreo update coming soon. Nokia 3 is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.
The smartphone sports a 5.5 inch HD display and houses a 3,000 mAh battery. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual led flash. For selfies, it comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with f.20 aperture. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Android Oreo coming soon.
