Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was the most selling smartphone in India for the year 2017. Redmi Note 5 is one of the most anticipated Xiaomi smartphones and the device has been leaked quite a few times in past. The smartphone is expected to be launched in China next month and we can expect India launch by May end.
Now according to these new renders leaked by TargetTube, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have thinner bezels and will sport a dual camera setup. This 18:9 display comes with thinner top and bottom bezels. At the back, you can see a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner just below it.
According to previous leaks, the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 processor and maybe Snapdragon 630 for India, where MediaTek will note be available. It will be available in three variants 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The Redmi Note 5 will sport a 5.65 inch Full HD + Display and rear fingerprint scanner just below the expected vertical dual camera setup. Though the listing on TENAA shows a single camera setup and a dual camera setup at the front for selfies.The smartphone is expected to start at CNY 1,299 around ₹12,499 and will be available in Black and Gold color variants.
