HTC has finally launched two new mid-range HTC Desire series smartphones called the HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+. HTC Desire 12 is priced at EUR 185 around ₹14,800 and the HTC Desire 12+ at EUR 235 around ₹18,900. Both the smartphones are available in Black and Silver color variants.
The pre-orders for the Desire 12+ has already started and it will go on sale early next month. The HTC Desire 12 is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. It sports a 5.5-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD display and comes with expandable storage.
Coming to the camera department, the desire 12 sports 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone also comes with the popular face unlock feature and houses a 2730mAh battery. Now coming to the Desire 12+, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
HTC Desire 12+ sports a 5.99-inch HD+ IPS LCD 18:9 aspect ratio display and comes with expandable storage up to 2TB. In terms of camera, the Desire 12 Plus sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front-facing camera is of 8-megapixel and comes with the face unlock feature.
The plus variant houses a bigger 2965mAh battery. Both the smartphones run on Android 8.o Oreo out of the box with HTC Sense UI on top. A fingerprint scanner is only present in the HTC Desire 12+ on the rear side. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and much more.
