List of All the Xiaomi Smartphones Getting MIUI 9.5 Update

Xiaomi has announced that it is rolling out its latest MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM update for many of its smartphones. As Xiaomi is providing the update on 30 smartphones, the company has also announced the estimated schedule time for MIUI 9.5 on various smartphones. As usual, the update will be rolled out via the over-the-air method.

In a post on Xiaomi’s MIUI Form, the Chinese company listed all the eligible smartphones for the MIUI 9.5 update. The update has started rolling out for Redmi Note 4 (MediaTek), Redmi 3S, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3 (Qualcomm), Redmi Note 4/Redmi Note 4X (Qualcomm), Redmi 4A, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max, and Mi Max Prime.

All the above-mentioned devices will receive the update by March end. The next schedule is for early April, which consists of smartphones like Redmi Note 5A Prime/ Redmi Y1 (India), Redmi Note 5A/Redmi Y1 Lite (India), Redmi 5A, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5/Pro, Redmi 5, Mi Max 2, Mi 5/Pro, Redmi 4X, Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2

The last schedule is in mid-April and consists of these smartphones -Mi Note 2, Mi 5s, Mi MIX, Mi Note 3, Mi 5s Plus, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 3, Redmi 4, Mi 3, Mi 4. Xiaomi also mentions that “The above release dates are only estimated time and might be changed due to various reasons. ”

It is always good to see Xiaomi providing updates to older smartphones like Xiaomi Mi 4, Redmi Note 2, etc. The MIUI 9.5 is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with many bug fixes and new features like new notification shade, sound recording for screen recorder, changes to Mi Mover and many more.
