Micromax has launched another entry-level smartphone in India under its Micromax Bharat series of smartphone. The Bharat 5 Pro is priced at ₹7,999 to compete with the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 5. Unlike Redmi 5 the Bharat 5 Pro comes with only one memory, storage configuration that is 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Micromax Bharat 5 Pro is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also supports expandable storage and houses a massive 5,000mAh Battery, the battery can deliver up to 2 days with normal usage and up to 3 weeks of standby time.
It sports a 5.2-inch HD display with the older 16:9 aspect ratio. Coming to optics, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash. The front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel and also comes with a LED flash for better low light selfies and video calling.
The dual-SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone uses micro-USB port for charging and data syncing. If we compare it to Redmi 5, it comes with better memory, storage configuration at the price and a massive 5,000mAh battery but lacks the popular 18:9 aspect ratio display and fingerprint scanner.
