Lenovo owned Moto is all set to update its popular entry-level Moto E series of smartphone. Moto is expected to launch the Moto E5, E5 Play, and Moto E5 Plus sometime in June or July. We have seen many leaks and rumors around the devices along with some live images of Moto G6 series including Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus.
Now Moto E5 Plus has also been leaked in Live images. A Weibo user has posted an image of a Moto smartphone which is believed to be the Moto E5 Plus. The live images of the smartphone show that the Moto E5 will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display with slim bezels and no physical button at the front.
As there is no physical button at the front, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back. Motorola has also embedded its logo in the round fingerprint scanner. Also according to the leaked image, it has a glossy curved glass back and overall the smartphone looks like the Moto’s mid-ranger Moto X4.
According to the leaked image, Moto E5 will have a dual rear camera setup in its iconic round module. Interestingly one of the most popular and trusted tipsters Evan Blass leaked Moto E5 renders last month, which shows a single camera setup instead of two. Evan claimed that the other cut out was for the laser autofocus system giving it a dual camera look.
The renders leaked by him showed a 16:9 aspect ratio display instead of the new 18:9 aspect ration. We are not sure about its design as the leaked image could be of the upcoming Moto G6 series, which matches all these design elements. We hope that Moto E series also comes with these design, but we highly doubt that. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
