Vivo is all set to launch its Vivo V9 smartphone in India on 27th March 2018. The smartphone has been leaked completely via a series of leaks revealing its pricing, specifications, design, and features. The leak also contains hands-on images, availability, and pricing in certain Asian markets.
Starting with the pricing, A Twitter user posted screenshots from an Indonesian e-commerce website which has listed the smartphone with pricing, specifications and press render. The Vivo V9 is listed at IDR 4,999,000 around ₹23,700. Coming to the specifications, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Vivo smartphone will sport a 6.0-inch full-HD+ AMOLED 18:9 aspect ratio display. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.0 on top. The leak also shows an iPhone X style notch at the top and we can expect Vivo to bring face unlock feature in the smartphone.
The V9 will come with a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor which will help in getting the popular bokeh mode. It will have a 24-megapixel front facing camera for video calling and selfies. As told before the front camera will also help in facial recognition.
The Vivo V9 has a rear placed fingerprint scanner and houses a 3250mAh battery. The 4G VoLTE smartphone is said to have features like App Clone and FiturSmart Split 2.0. Coming to the leaked box, it shows the FIFA World Cup 2018 branding on the box for the Indonesian and Thailand Variant. We will know about the device officially on 27th March 2018.
