Last year, Xiaomi launched its popular Mi 5X smartphone as Mi A1 in India. The only difference between the two was that the Mi A1 was an Android one phone with Stock UI instead of the Xiaomi’s MIUI. Now the company is all set to launch the Mi 6X smartphone in China and we can soon expect the Mi A2 in India.
A Xiaomi smartphone with model number M1804D2SE was spotted on TENNA, by slashleaks. According to the listing, this is the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6X or Mi A2. It will sport a 5.99-inch display and will house a 2910mAh battery. We have the popular Red color variant of the smartphone in the listing.
The TENNA listing doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone but we have the design. In terms of design, from the front, it looks like the recently launched Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone. It looks pretty similar to its predecessor from the back with a vertical dual rear camera setup just like on Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Xiaomi is not going for the iPhone X like notch which many other Chinese manufacturers have adopted. We might also see a face unlock feature on the Xiaomi Mi 6X and a rear placed round fingerprint scanner. Looking at the images we can see thin bezels and a front facing camera along with the earpiece at the top.
