Just like last year, Apple has finally launched the iPhone 8 (PRODUCT) RED Edition and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT) RED edition. As expected there is no iPhone X RED Edition and both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available in 64GB and 256GB variant. Both the smartphones will be available for Pre-orders in the US starting tomorrow.
It will go on sale on starting 13th April 2018, Friday and will come in India in May. The new iPhones are priced at the same price as the other color variants. Apple iPhone 8 Red Editon is priced at $699 around ₹67,490 for the 64GB internal storage variant and $849 around ₹81,500 for the 256GB variant.
The bigger iPhone 8 Plus Red Edition is priced at $799 around ₹77,560 and the 256GB variant is priced at $949 around ₹91,110. Apple announced that both the new smartphones will be available for pre-order beginning 5:30 a.m. PDT on 10th April, Tuesday.
Apple will start delivering the new smartphones starting April 13 in countries including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and US. Other countries and Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE will see the new products in late April.
Finally, countries including Chile, Colombia, India, Israel, Turkey and other regions will receive the new iPhone RED edition in May 2018. Though Apple has not launched a new iPhone X but has launched a new iPhone X Leather Folio PRODUCT RED. It is priced at $99 around ₹7,900 and is available starting Tuesday in the US.
