Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch its 2018 lineup of smartphones, from the entry-level E series to the flagship Z series, Moto smartphones always get leaked before the launch. Same is the case with the Moto’s upcoming mid-ranger, Moto Z3 play.
With 3rd-generation of Moto Z series, Motorola will ditch the old 16:9 aspect ratio and will adapt to the modern 18:9 aspect ratio display. Killer Features in partnership with popular tipster @Onleaks have obtained 3D renders of the upcoming Moto Z3 Play.
Let’s start with the rear side, we find a dual camera setup with led flash in the usual moto fashion. According to previous leaks, the smartphone is expected to sport a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. At the bottom we can find the magnetic pins for the Moto Mods, confirming the support for Moto Mods.
Now coming to the front, Moto Z3 Play sports a 6.1-inch IPS 18:9 aspect ratio display. Below the display, you can find the Motorola branding and there is no fingerprint scanner. Interestingly the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the right-hand side of the smartphone, replacing the power button.
Looks like the smartphone will be an all glass smartphone with a metal frame but we are not sure. According to the renders, there is no headphone jack. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor and will house a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of memory configurations, Z3 Play will have 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant along with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant. The Moto Z3 Play will use a USB Type C port for charging and data syncing along with Turbocharge support. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
