HMD Global owned Nokia is all set to launch another smartphone in China called the Nokia X. Interestingly till now we have not seen many leaks and rumours about the smartphone but according to the reports, it will be a mid-range handset. Nokia has already launched the Nokia 6 2018, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1, Nokia 8 Sirrico smartphones in 2018.
According to a report by ITHome, HMD Global will launch a new Nokia smartphone in China on 27th April 2018. Nokia has officially started teasing the smartphone in China via Display advertisements. The advertisement shows a big X formed using the smartphone calling it Nokia X.
Other than two sleek smartphones forming an “X”, the advertisement doesn’t reveal anything. We don’t if Nokia will launch this smartphone globally or it will be a China or Asia exclusive. While we were expecting the launch of a flagship Nokia 9, Nokia is ready for a mid-range Nokia X.
If you remember Nokia had launched Nokia X series way back in 2014, it was Nokia’s first Android smartphone which had a Windows-style titles UI. We can expect Nokia to bring a new UI with the Nokia X series of smartphones as all of its current smartphones are Android One smartphones with Stock UI.
Coming to the expected specifications, we might see the upcoming Snapdragon 710 processor powering the Nokia X. Xiaomi’s Mi 6X is also expected to come with the same processor, launching on 25th April. 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage configurations are expected.
