Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo With Face Unlock Spotted on Samsung Website

In January we told you that Samsung is all set to launch a new smartphone called Samsung J8 2018. Now the same smartphone has been spotted on the Samsung’s website with the model number SM-J720F. According to another report, the smartphone will be called Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo.

The smartphone has been listed on the Samsung India’s official website, indicating that India launch is near and the smartphone will be launched in India first. The user manual of the smartphone was still available at the time of writing this story, which revealed some important details.

First of all according to the leaked manual. Samsung will continue with a 16:9 aspect ratio display with big bezels and a fingerprint scanner embedded home button. The manual also reveals that it will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port for charging and data syncing.

At the back, there is a dual vertical camera setup and a front LED flash enabled selfie camera. Another big change in the smartphone is that it comes with Samsung’s own virtual assistant called Bixby Home. This will enable a number of voice shortcuts and actions on your budget smartphone.

As Samsung India has listed both the SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS, The Galaxy J7 2018 will come with dual sim support. The listing also confirms the popular face unlock feature on the Galaxy J7 Duo 2018. The smartphone is expected to run on 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos 7885 processor coupled with Mali G-71 GPU and up to 4GB of RAM.

The smartphone will come with 32GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD. Samsung might price it around ₹16,999 to compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the upcoming Moto G6 Plus. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
