Sony has launched an upgraded version of its recently launched Xperia XZ2 smartphone called the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Sony launched the Xperia XZ2 at MWC 2018 in Barcelona and now the XZ2 premium comes with many improvements over its predecessor. Sony has not revealed the price of the handset yet but it will be available soon in both single and dual-SIM variants.
The Sony smartphone will be available in Chrome Silver and Chrome Black colour variants. Now coming to the specifications, Xperia X2 Premium is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 400GB.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium sports a 5.8-inch 4K HDR Triluminous display with the same big bezels at the top and bottom. It comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 19-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor is of 12-megapixel with f/1.6 aperture.
It is a colour + monochrome dual camera setup capable of recording super slow motion videos at 960fps. The dual camera setup also helps in getting a DSLR like bokeh effect. Talking about the front-facing camera, XZ2 premium comes with a 13-megapixel wide angle lens with f/2.0 aperture.
The 22m wide angle lens will help in getting more people into your selfies. The smartphone houses a 3540mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging. It uses a USB Type- C port for charging and data syncing. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
