Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone Launched – Price, Specifications, Features

After many leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally launched its Black Shark gaming smartphone. Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 around ₹31,100 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant and CNY 3,499 around ₹36,300 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. The smartphone will go on sale starting 20th April in China and we don’t know anything about the global availability yet.

The smartphone is available in Polar Night and Sky Grey color variants. Along with the gaming smartphone, Xiaomi also announced a controller dock. You can dock the black shark smartphone in the controller and it comes with a joystick along with a trigger button. It is a bit different from your usual gaming controllers and is priced at CNY 179 around ₹1900.

Xiaomi’s gaming smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in two variants –  6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. Black Shark smartphone sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display.

Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone comes with a dual camera setup with a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. Both the sensors come with f/1.75 aperture and a LED flash. The gaming smartphone also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

It uses Quick Charge 3.0 for charging the 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone will compete with the Razer Phone gaming smartphone launched in November 2017.
