After launching Mi MIX 2S smartphone, Xiaomi is all set to launch its first gaming smartphone on 13th April. Xiaomi has officially teased the gaming smartphone launch in China on 13th April. In February we told you in depth about the upcoming Xiaomi gaming smartphone.
A new smartphone has been spotted on the benchmarking website AnTuTu with flagship specifications codenamed BlackShark. BlackShark is the name of the Xiaomi’s sub-brand which is focused on mobile gaming. Therefore it is safe to say that this smartphone is a Xaiomi Smartphone. Xiaomi had recently launched this sub-company for smartphone gaming.
According to the listing spotted on Weibo, The Xiaomi gaming smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It will come with 8GB of RAM which will help in keeping most of your games in memory and will have 32GB of inbuilt storage. 32GB of inbuilt storage is quite low for a gaming smartphone.
The smartphone is expected to sport a full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with MIUI on top. The gaming smartphone scored an impressive score of 270,680 on the AnTuTu benchmark. The smartphone will compete against the Razer phone and other upcoming smartphones by other companies.
The features which make the Razer phone a true gaming smartphone is that 120Hz refresh rate display and really good speakers. Which are currently not mentioned in the leaked specifications. We hope Xiaomi will make a solid gaming smartphone. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
