BlackBerry KEY2 With Dual Camera Setup Official Teaser Released

BlackBerry is all set to launch the BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone on 7th June 2018. While earlier the company only confirmed a launch event on 7th June, Now BlackBerry has confirmed the BlackBerry KEY2 via an official teaser video, revealing its design.

First of all the iconic BlackBerry keyboard from the KEYone is still here. The bezels on the display are also same as its predecessor making it look similar from the front. The big change comes at the back as the BlackBerry KEYtwo will sport a dual rear camera setup in a horizontal position.

The back here also is not your usual glass or metal it is some kind of rubberized texture like one the KEY1. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the space bar of the full-fledged physical which will also come with gesture support. The Video also teases a BlackBerry Key which lights up.

It might be a dedicated button for the Google Assistant or for some specific Blackberry feature. We will know more about that on June 7th in New York. The smartphone will use USB Type-C for charging and data syncing along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top. It will feature a 3:2 aspect ratio Full HD+ display.

Blackberry KEY2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It will run on Android Oreo out of the box with Blackberry’s own set of security apps. Let’s see what Blackberry will launch next month. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
