While the entrance of Reliance Jio made the private Indian telecom operators competitive, government departments are also not behind. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new offer called “Data Tsunami”. The offer is applicable across all circles where the state-owned telecom is present.
With this new ₹98 plan, users will get 1.5GB data per day with a validity of 26 days. For those who want unlimited calling too can opt for BSNL’s ₹118 pack. With ₹118 recharge you get unlimited voice calls and 1GB data for a period of 28 days.
“BSNL provides efficient services at cheaper rates as per requirement of customers. This is a pure data STV which provides at a very economic rate at Rs. 2.51 per GB,” said RK Mittal, Director, BSNL Board.
Looking at the statement above ₹2.51/GB is a great price. Reliance Jio is often considered as the cheapest telecom operator in India. But Jio also offers data at price of ₹3.5/GB in its ₹149 plan. Though the company is also offering unlimited calls with it.
So if you are a BSNL subscriber and needs a lot of internet data this plan is amazing. With apps like WhatsApp and Hike, you can even use data to call over the internet. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
