HTC is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone called the HTC U12+ tomorrow 23rd May 2018. But just one day before the launch, HTC accidentally revealed the smartphone by a sub-domain. Now we know all most everything about the smartphone from specifications to even the pricing.
As reported by popular tipster Roland Quandt, HTC 12+ is priced at CNY 5,888 around ₹62,800. The specifications listed on the website matches the previously leaked specifications. At this price, HTC U12+ will face a tough competition from the Google Pixel 2 XL, Samsung Galaxy S9 and the iPhone 8.
The HTC U12+ comes with a 6-inch quad-HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with top and bottom bezels. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back just below the dual horizontal camera setup. The smartphone is powered by a 2.6Ghz Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 2TB.
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with HTC Sense UI on top. It will also come with the HTC Edge Sense 2, it let you squeeze your smartphone to open apps and control your smartphone. Coming to the camera, U12+ will sport a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel wide angle lens and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens.
The HTC smartphone will come with the popular face unlock feature too and the rear camera can record videos in 4K. The device will use USB-Type C for charging and data syncing and houses a 3500mAh battery. It will support both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
