Lenovo owned Moto is all set to launch its much-awaited Moto Z3 Play smartphone. The device has been leaked quite a few times in past and now we have it in Deep Indigo colour variant. While every company is trying to get rid of the bezels at front Moto has moved the fingerprint scanner to the side.
Popular tipster Evan Blass has tweeted out an image of the press render of the Moto Z3 Play smartphone. The render is in Deep Indigo colour variant and shows the smartphone from all the sides. At back, Moto Z3 play comes with a dual camera setup with LED flash.
At the front, it will come with a 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display. The bottom bezel comes with the Motorola branding and at the top bezel, we have the earpiece and a single front-facing camera. There is no headphone jack and it uses USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing.
The smartphone will come with a 3,000mAh battery with Moto’s turbo power fast charge. As told before it will come with a side placed fingerprint scanner, like we have seen on Sony Xperia smartphones. It is a dedicated fingerprint scanner on the right-hand side with the power button on the left.
The back also comes with the pogo pins connector for the Moto Mods support. It is really good to see Moto keeping up with their promise to support Moto Mods. In terms of expected specifications, Moto Z3 Play will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
The smartphone will run on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with a guaranteed update to Android P. Recently Motorola has not been good at updating its smartphone and with brands like Nokia and OnePlus going for faster updates, it is not good. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
