HMD Global owned Nokia has finally launched its first smartphone with a display notch called the Nokia X6. Nokia X6 has been launched in China at a price of CNY 1,299 around ₹13,800 for the 4GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and CNY 1,499 around ₹16,000 for the 4GB RAM +64GB storage variant.
The top-end model comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage at a price of CNY 1,699 around ₹18,100. The smartphone will open for reservations today via JD.com, Suning.com and Tmall.com. We don’t know about the global availability of the smartphone.
Nokia X6 is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It comes with expandable storage via microSD up to 256GB and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone sports a 5.8-inch full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a small notch.
The display is protected by the 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3. The Nokia X6 comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary monochrome sensor. It comes with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. The front-facing camera is of 16-megapixel and comes with the same f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels.
As every other smartphone maker, Nokia X6 comes with AI camera features for better photography, better portraits shots, low light performance etc. The smartphone also comes with the Nokia Bothie feature which lets you use both the front and rear camera simultaneously.
The Nokia smartphone uses USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing and houses a 3060mAh battery. It comes with an 18W fast charger giving 50% battery life in 30 minutes.
