Samsung Galaxy J and Galaxy A Series Smartphones Launch in India on 21st May

Samsung is all set for a smartphone launch event on 21st May 2018 in India. The company has started sending out press invites saying “Say Hello To Infinity & More”. This confirms that one of the smartphones will come with the Samsung’s Infinity display.

As reported by Gadgets360, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A and Galaxy J series of smartphones on 21st May 2018. There will be two new J series smartphones – Galaxy J4, Galaxy and two new A series smartphones- Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+.

According to the report, the J series smartphones will be priced between ₹15,000-₹20,000 and A series smartphones between ₹20,000-25,000. Out of the four smartphones, two will come with a dual camera setup and we expect three out of 4 to sport an infinity display.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ were recently launched in South Korea. Samsung Galaxy A6 is powered by a 1.6Ghz octa-core processor and A6+ by a 1.8Ghz octa-core processor. Both the smartphone supports expandable storage and A6 comes with 3GB RAM +32 GB internal storage, A6+ with 4GB RAM +64GB internal storage.

Galaxy A6 sports a 5.6-inch HD display and A6+ comes with a 6-inch full HD+ display. Both come with 18:5:9 aspect ratio infinity displays and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The A6 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and the A6+ comes with a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture.

While A6+ gets a 24-megapixel selfie camera with live focus, the Galaxy A6 gets a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with a f/1.9 aperture on both. Samsung Galaxy A6+ houses a 3,500mAh battery and the A6 houses a 3,000mAh battery. Let’s see what all Samsung will launch at the event on 21st. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
