Samsung has launched two new colour variants of its latest flagship smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus will now be available in Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red colour variants too. The smartphones are currently available in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple colour variants.
Samsung Galaxy S9 Burgundy Red Edition will be available in Korea and China starting May. The Sunrise Gold Edition of the smartphone will be available in Australia, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam starting June. Additional markets are coming soon for the Sunrise Gold variant.
“People want to be able to express their style and personality through their technology and colour is a big part of that personalization,” said Younghee Lee, CMO and Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics. “The new editions extend the colour offerings of Galaxy S9 and S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel.”
Samsung Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch 1440p SAMOLED Infinity display and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch SAMOLED Infinity display and will have 6GB of RAM 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. Both the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and Exynos 9810 in rest of the world.
