Bharti Airtel, one of the leading telecom operators in India is continuously revising its plans to fight the current market leader Reliance Jio. The company has now increased the data limit of its ₹399 plan to 2.4GB per day for limited prepaid subscribers.
Earlier the ₹399 plan offered, unlimited calling, 100 free sms /day and 1.4GB data per day with 70 days validity. Now along with the unlimited calls some users will get 2.4GB data per day with 84 days validity. As reported by Telecom Talk, only users with 84 days validity are getting this 2.4GB data per day.
For the users with 70 days validity, the will get the usual 1.4GB data per day along with free calls and 100 SMS. Currently the users who subscribed to the ₹399 plan are getting this additional data but we expect Airtel to launch the pack for other uses soon.
If we talk about Airtel’s arch rival, Jio offers the same ₹399 plan with unlimited voice calls, 100 sms per day and 1.5GB high speed data per day with a validity of 84 days. Along with Jio also offers free access to its suite of apps like Jio TV, Jio Music and more.
Unlike Airtel, the Jio pack is available for all the Reliance Jio customers. Recently Jio launched a scheme where in prepaid subscribers will get 20% cashback (maximum 50) on purchasing a recharge pack via PhonePe from Jio’s website and MyJio app. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
