Apple App Store, Music, Podcast, Clips and Siri Gets New Features For The FIFA World Cup 2018


Last week, Google announced a bunch of features via which Football fans can get best of the FIFA World Cup 2018 on the Google platform. Now Apple has also announced a bunch of new features of its different apps via which you can get ready for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Let’s start with Siri first, Siri Sports is now available in Brazil, Russia, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Israel to support with football support added. This is in addition to the 26 countries that already supports Siri Sports.


Users can now ask Siri for scores, schedules, standings, and team rosters. Next is Apple app store, through the month of the FIFA World Cup 2018, Apple store editors will highlight their favorite apps and games from football stars and will offer different tips for the World Cup.

“The App Store will also feature key football-related apps and games to help fans dive deeper into the experience, with official broadcaster apps like FOX NOW or BBC Sport, and games like FIFA Mobile and PES 2018. ” Apple said. Apple Music will feature playlists for each of the 32 participating nations and will feature best tracks from the country chosen by the Apple local team.

Apple has also added an editorial collection called The Beautiful Game in the Apple Podcasts. In this users can check out different shows related to Football. Lastly you can show how excited you are by creating clips with the new football themed graphics, animated stickers, posters, labels and customisable texts.

FIFA World Cup 2018 starts tomorrow and both Google and Apple has provided its users ample ways to keep updated with the biggest football tournament. Who do you think will take the trophy home?
