Instagram For iOS Gets Music in Stories – Coming To Android Soon

Instagram is on a roll this month, After introducing, IGTV, New Explore Tab, Video call and a lots of other feature, Facebook owned company has brought Music to Instagram Stories. Now you can add an soundtrack to your story from the Instagram app.

Instagram says that Instagram stories used by 400 million users every day. To add a sound track just tap to add a sticker to your story and you will see a music icon there. Tap the icon to open a library of thousand of songs and you can select any one from them.

You can search a specific song, search by mood, by artist or genre. After you have selected a song you can fast-forward or rewind through the track to get the exact part you want. You can also select a music before capturing a video via the Instagram stories.

Open the camera and swipe to the new Music option and again select a track, edit it accordingly and press the record button to record a video. When your friends will see your story they will see a music sticker on it with Song’s name and artist name.

Instagram says that they are adding more and more songs to their library everyday. The music stickers is available only in select countries as the Instagram For iOS version 51. Android will get the feature soon and more countries will be added. We hope they will add Indian songs to the library as India is one of their biggest market.
