Instagram in February said that the popular photo sharing network is testing a feature that would notify people if someone took a screenshot of their Instagram Story. Now after 4 months, Facebook-owned company has confirmed that they are no longer testing this feature.
Instagram told BuzzFeed News that it has officially ended this test and no one will get notified when you screenshot. This is a great news for all the stalkers and creeps out there. Back in February Instagram had started testing this on a small number of users and since then we did’t heard much about the feature.
Instagram’s biggest rival Snapchat is giving this feature from long and just like many other features we thought that Instagram would copy this also. While now you can’t check who took a screenshot of your Instagram story, you can still check who all viewed your store.
Just swipe up from your story to check all the viewers. What do you think about this step by Instagram? Do you want Instagram to alert you when someone took a screenshot or not? Let us know in the comments below and Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
