WWDC 2018 is over and now Apple fans are waiting for the iPhone launch event that usually takes place in September. This year Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone, one out of them is the long rumored iPhone X Plus.
The biggest wish for many iPhone X users is a larger display in iPhone 8 Plus form factor. And looks like Apple is set to provide just that. According to a report by BGR, iPhone X will fit in a form factor similar to iPhone 8 Plus but with a big display.
BGR claims that they got this by Analyzing their Google Analytics data and searched for screen resolutions of the people visiting BGR’s website. There was many iPhone models out of which only one was not yet out in the market. An iPhone running iOS 12 was with screen resolution 414 x 896 was spotted.
Do note this is not your native screen resolution, instead it is UIKit Size points. This matches the width of the current iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus but iPhone X Plus is taller than the others. To put in context iPhone 8 and iPhone X has same width.
BGR claims that they got two visitors from the alleged iPhone X Plus prototype in May. So now its clear that Apple i actually working on an iPhone X Plus, but the question here is what would Apple call it? There must be an iPhone X2 or X1, so technically it would be iPhone X1 Plus or iPhone X2 Plus.
Whatever they decide to call it, Apple fans from around the world will be happy to see a bigger iPhone X but it will also be the most expensive iPhone yet. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
