Lenovo Legion Gaming Series Updated At E3 2018 – Laptops, Desktops


Lenovo at E3 2018 has added 6 new gaming devices to its Legion Gaming series. Lenovo launched the Legion Gaming sub-brand last year and has now launched new laptops and Desktops via the Gaming brand. Lenovo has launched Legion Y530 and Legion Y730 Laptops along with Legion T730 and Legion T530 towers and Legion C730 and Legion C530 cubes.

Let’s start with the Laptops first, The Lenovo Legion Y730 is priced at a starting price of $1,179.99 around ₹79,599 for the 15-inch model and $1,249.99 around ₹84,499 for the 17-inch model. Both the models will be available in US starting September 2018 with global launch later.

The Legion Y530 series starts at $929.99 around ₹62,799 and will be available later this month. The Lenovo Legion T730 Tower and T530 Tower are priced at $929.99 around ₹62,799 and $829.99 around ₹56,000. Lastly the Legion C730 Cube and C530 Cube are priced at  $929.99 around ₹62,799 and $829.99 around ₹56,000.

All the four desktops will be available starting August 2018 and all the new series will be available on Lenovo’s website as well as select local retailers.

Lenovo Legion Y530, Y730, T730, T530, C730, and C530 Specifications

As stated above the Lenovo Legion Y730 comes in two different sizes with 15-inch and 17-inch full HD IPS display. The laptop comes with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and is the world’s first laptop to come with Corsair iCUE RGB backlit keyboard. The laptop is made out of aluminium and comes with Dolby Atomos speaker with Dobly Sound Radar support.

The Legion Y530 comes only in 15-inch model and is similar to its elder Y730 model. All the legion laptops comes with 6 custom Macro “Y” keys  and are powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The graphics card provided is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti.


Both the new Tower PCs, T730 and T530 are powered by the latest 8th Intel Core i7 processor and comes with Nvidi GeForve GTX 1060 graphics card. The high-end T730 comes with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD or 2TB hard disk model.

Lenovo says the new Tower desktop are easily up gradable with a press of a button. Lastly both the new Cube PC’s also run on 8th Gen Intel Cor i7 processors and comes with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM.
