After many speculations around its launch, Samsung has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will launch on 9th August 2018. Samsung has started sending press invites for the Unpacked 2018 event on 9th August 2018. The invite also confirms the additional physical button.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and the Exynos 9810 in the rest of the world. The smartphone will be very similar to its predecessor with a slight design change including a better fingerprint scanner position like on the Galaxy S9.
According to some previous report and as confirmed now, the smartphone will come with an additional physical button which will be a multipurpose button. It will be used as a shutter button for taking photos and videos, quick launch camera, and take a screenshot or screen recording as well.
Galaxy Note 9 will come in 5 new color variants including Blue, Brown, Black, Lavender and Gray. As usual with the color names on smartphones, these are just the color variants and Samsung will name them accordingly like Midnight Black for black etc.
The upcoming Samsung smartphone will have a horizontal dual rear camera setup, with a small rectangular fingerprint scanner just below the camera module. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED infinity display with thinner bezels all around. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
