Earlier this month, Sony Xperia Z3 specifications and features were leaked and the smartphone is expected to launch at IFA 2018 in Berlin. The smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench certification website and reveals that the smartphone will run on Android 9.0.
So we could expect Google to launch the Android 9.0 with the Sony Xperia Z3 in September. SumahoInfo spotted a screenshot of GFXBench listing of the Xperia XZ3 revealing many important details about the upcoming smartphone. The listing comes with a Sony smartphone with model number SM H8416.
Sony Xperia XZ3 is powered by a 2.7Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno GPU. It will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will sport a 5.9-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with no information about a notch or design.
The specifications are different from the previous leaks, the display was 5.7-inch full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio panel. Similarly while the new leaks suggest a single 19-megapixel rear facing camera with auto focus, 4K recording etc. The previous leaks showed a dual rear camera setup with a secondary 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture.
The front-facing camera is of 13-megapixel and we expect to come with the latest features like Face Unlock and selfie portrait mode. Interestingly it could be running on the Android P beta version, that’s why it listed with Android P here but Google has launched its operating system like this in past with LG smartphone. So we can expect Sony Xperia XZ3 in September running Android 9 P. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
