While Xiaomi fans in India are waiting for the company to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6X as the Mi A2 in India, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. The smartphone has been spotted on the Singapore’ certification website and was earlier also spotted on FCC.
As reported by SlashLeaks, A Xiaomi smartphone with model number M1805D1SG has been spotted on the certification website. The model number is same as the one spotted earlier on Chinese certification website TENNA. It was reported as Redmi 6 and now according to the latest listing it is the Xiomi Mi A2 Lite.
Xioami Mi A2 Lite makes more sense as the Redmi 5 is just 6 months old smartphone. The listing shows the smartphone to comes with a small display notch which looking at the bezels all around is not at all needed. Ther fingerprint scanner is placed at the back near the vertical dual camera setup.
It will be powered by a 2Ghz unnamed octa-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage. It will come with a dual-rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and the secondary sensor is unknown. The front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel for taking selfies and video calling.
