After many leaks and rumors, Xiaomi is all set to launch its next phablet smartphone called the Mi Max 3 on 19th July 2018. Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in China at 7:30 pm ( 5 pm IST). The smartphone has been leaked a lot and Xiaomi had previously confirmed that the smartphone will launch in July 2018.
Xiaomi’s Global spokesperson, Donovan Sung announced the launch via Twitter and there were multiple posts by Xiaomi on Weibo. The post says a large screen and a large amount of electricity, which means a big display and a massive battery on the Mi Max 3.
The Xiaomi smartphone will be powered by a 1.6Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB/ 6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. It will also support expandable storage via MicroSD. As every Max series smartphone, it comes with a huge display of 6.9-inch. It is a full HD 18:9 aspect ratio display and the smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 10 on top.
The smartphone will house a massive 5,400mAh battery and will come with a 12-megapixel rear camera. The listing doesn’t confirm if it is a dual camera setup or single as in 2018 we expect a dual rear camera setup. There are 5-megapixel and 8-megapixel front shooters, depending upon the model.
The listing doesn’t come with an image, therefore, we don’t know how will it look. We expect it to have a rear fingerprint scanner and a facial unlock system. Just like previous Max series, we expect it to be like a larger variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is not a bad thing. We also expect Xiaomi to launch this in India and price it around ₹18,999.
