Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Analogue Watch With Smart Features Launched

Xiaomi has launched a new watch which is a typical Analogue watch but with smart features. Xiaomi has launched it via its subbrand Mijia and is calling it Mijia Quartz Watch.  The Xiaomi Quartz watch is priced at CNY around ₹349 and will go on sale in China starting 17th July 2018.

The Mi watch will be available at Tmall, Mi Home app and via the Mi online store. Let’s first talk about the smart features, the Mijia Quartz watch can be connected to your smartphone via its app to synchronize the time shown on the watch. This will result in accurate time according to the time zone you are in.

The watch comes with a pedometer and calorie counter to track your steps and calories. You can see the data via the app on your smartphone and can set up to 10 alarm reminders for the watch. These reminders will just be vibrations so it won’t disturb people around you.

The watch pairs with devices running on Android 4.4 KitKat or above and iOS 7 or above. The is an MIUI 9 and iOS 9 exclusive feature called the VIP call alert feature. The Mijia watch comes with a 40mm dial and there is a small dial at the bottom to show the step count.

It comes with replaceable leather straps and overall looks good. There is no word on international availability as of yet but we would love to see Xiaomi launching it in India.
