Apple is all set to launch three new iPhone models in September 2018. Many reports claim that Apple will launch the 2018 iPhone models on 12th September 2018. While we have seen a lot of 2018 iPhone leaks there are some new ones following the previous leaks. The new cheaper LCD iPhone variant will also get launched on 12th September but will ship a bit later.
As reported by 9t05Mac, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo stated that there will be three new iPhone models this year. An iPhone X successor with 5.8-inch OLED display, A bigger variant with 6.5-inch OLED display and an entry-level 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model. All the three iPhone models will run on Apple’s new A12 processor coupled with 3GB RAM on the LCD model and 4GB RAM on the OLED one.
The 2018 OLED iPhones will come with 64GB/256GB and 512GB of internal storage and the 2018 LCD model will have 64GB/256GB of internal storage. The OLED models will have a dual-rear camera setup like we have seen on the iPhone X and the LCD model will have a single rear camera. Just like the iPhone X, OLED models will be made out of stainless steel and the LCD model will have aluminium frame.
All the models will come with the display notch at top which will house sensors for the 3D Facial Recognition system or as Apple calls it Face ID. Lastly the LCD model will have a 2600-2700mAh battery, 5.8-inch OLED will have 2700-2800mAh battery and the higher end variant will have 3,300-3,400mAh battery.
Coming to the pricing, the LCD variant will cost around $600-$699 around Rs. 42,000 – Rs. 49,000. The 5.8-inch iPhone X2 will cost around $800-899 around Rs. 56,000 – Rs. 63,000.
