Oppo is all set to launch its next smartphone in India called the Oppo F9 Pro. The F9 Pro is expected to be the Indian variant of the Oppo F9 smartphone launched in Vietnam. Oppo has been teasing the Oppo F9 Pro in India for many weeks and now its time for the launch. Oppo will be live streaming the event on it’s official website at 12:30 PM IST today.
Oppo F9 is priced at VND 7,690,000 around Rs. 23,499 for the 4GB RAM variant and there is no word on the 6GB RAM variant pricing. Only the 6GB RAM variant is expected to be launched in India and we can expect a price of around Rs. 27,499. The smartphone will be available in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple colour variants in India.
Oppo F9 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 UI on top and comes with the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio TFT display with a small display notch at top.
The notch is just like the one we saw on the Essential Phone and Oppo is calling it the Waterdrop screen. Oppo F9 Pro will sport a dual-rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture along with a LED flash light. It will come with a 25-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and all the popular AI features like Portrait mode, AR Stickers, Beautification and more.
The Oppo F9 Pro houses a 3,500mAh battery and comes with a rear faced fingerprint scanner. It comes with the Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology along with 4G,WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and a micro-USB port for charging and data syncing.
