Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Launched – Price, Specifications. Features

Samsung has finally launched its next Note smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The Samsung Note 9 is priced at $999 around Rs. 68700 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant and $1,250 around Rs. 85900 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage variant. The Pre-Orders starts tomorrow and will be available starting 24th August. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 India launch is expected on 22nd August 2018 with the sale starting from 24th August.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and Exynos 9810 for the rest of the world. It comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 512GB. It comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone houses a massive 4,000mAh battery which also adds a weight to the smartphone and makes it a bit thicker. The S-Pen now comes with Bluetooth functionality which lets you control apps like YouTube and Presentations using S-Pen. You can even click pictures using the S-Pen button. With just 40-seconds of charge, S-Pen battery can last up to 30 minutes for the Bluetooth functionality.

The Galaxy Note 9 comes with a dual-rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.5-f/2.4 variable apertures and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f.2/4 aperture. The camera comes with dual optical image stabilization and optical zoom up to 2X and 10x digital zoo. The front-facing camera is of 8-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture and all the popular features like Face Unlock, portrait selfie and more.

The latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Samsung’s own UI on top. It comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, JPS, and Gigabit LTE support. It also comes with Samsung DEX support that lets you turn Note 9 into a computer by connecting it to a monitor. It will be interesting to see how Samsung will price Galaxy Note in India.
