Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, Tab A 10.5 Launched – Price, Specifications, Features


Samsung has launched two new tablets today called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5. While the Tab S4 is a high-end flagship tablet from Samsung, the Tab A 10.5 is an affordable tablet from the Korean company. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is priced at $650 around ₹44,499 for the 64GB of internal storage variant and $750 around ₹51,200 for the 256GB variant.

The tablet is now available for pre-orders in the US and we don’t have any information about the global availability. Samsung has not announced the price of the Samsung Tab A 10.5 yet. We can expect Samsung to launch the Tab A in global markets soon with pricing information.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is powered by a 2.3Ghz  Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/256GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via microSD up to 400GB and the tablet runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. The Samsung tablet comes with a 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED 16:10 aspect ratio display with bezels all around. The tablet also comes with Samsung DeX support which gives you a desktop-like experience with your tablet.

The Tab S4 houses a huge 7300mAh battery which uses USB Type-C for charing and comes with fast charging support. The new S-Pen now comes with a 0.7mm diameter and 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels. While the S-Pen is included in the box you can also buy the Samsung Book Cover Keyboard to get the full benefit of the Samsung DeX support. In terms of Cameras, the tablet comes with a 13-megapixel auto-focus sensor with f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with the same aperture.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via microSD up to 400GB and the tablet runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. The Tab A also comes with a 10.5-inch 16:10 aspect ratio display which is a WUXGA TFT display. The tablet comes with a dedicated Kids mode with Kids Browser, Galaxy Apps for Kids and 8 dedicated apps which have child-friendly content.

It comes with an 8-megapixel auto-focus sensor with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The Galaxy Tab 4 also comes with a 7300mAh battery and uses USB Type- C for charging and data syncing. Both the tablets come with WiFi, GPS, and while the Tab S4 comes with Bluetooth 5.0, the Tab 4 uses the Bluetooth 4.2 technology.
